BETTING IN KENYA
According to a recent report, Kenya has the highest number of youth betting in the world. Nairobi is the biggest gambling city of Kenya with 128 tables’ games, 908 gaming, 18 gambling facilities, slot, and video poker machines.
Almost 80% of the youth of Kenya bets for football. Compared to Africans, frequency of gambling is highest among Kenyans. Majority of Kenyans bet once a week unlike Africans betting once in a month. As seen in the graph below, sports betting are the most preferred. Football matches especially the English premier league is fixed mostly over the weekends
